This head has a cord of clay representing a headband that circles the head but does not extend all the way to the rear. Since the scalp is rounded and bare, with nothing to indicate a topknot, it may be intended to depict a clean-shaven head. The eyebrows are immediately below the headband, the ridge of the nose is high and straight, and the eyes and mouth are set in a smiling expression. Attached to the ears are doughnut-shaped disks representing ear ornaments, from which, judging from marks in those areas, pendant-like objects once hung. The rest of the original figure from the neck down has been lost.
