Natural Ingredients

All of our food served at the Peach Valley Restaurant and the Pine View Tea Room is prepared with ingredients that have been grown without any agrichemicals and fertilizers.

 
Grains

Rice, ancient cultivation style rice, mochi rice, wheat, buck wheat (soba), soybeans, azuki (red) beans, navy beans.

   
Vegetables

Greens, potatoes, carrots, yams, onions, lotus root, sesame, sweet potatoes, Japanese ginger, konnyaku root, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, sweet grasses, etc.

   
Fruits

Apples, citrus fruit, Ume plums, pineapple, strawberries, grapes, kiwi, blueberries, chestnuts, cherries, peaches, bananas, persimmons, plums, loquats, mango, etc.

   
Seasonings

Soybean paste (miso), soy sauce, liquor, vinegar, sweetened rice wine, a mixture of red pepper and other spices (seven spices), brown sugar, sugar and salt. (Naturally grown and prepared in our kitchen), Sake (Rice Wine), Canola Oil, Olive Oil, Black Pepper

   
Dairy products

Milk, egg and quail egg, Cream, Butter, Natural Cheese

   
Tea leaves

Powdered green tea, green tea, roasted tea, barley tea, black tea.

   
Bread

Our bread is baked in the Museum bakery using Canadian wheat and wild yeast from grapes and strawberries. We hope you enjoy our bread's natural flavor.
