This exhibit features exemplary Chinese, Korean, and Japanese ceramic ware. Highlights include Han-dynasty Jar with Cloud Design and Tang-dynasty White Porcelain Jar from China as well as exquisite Koryo-dynasty celadon and Yi-dynasty porcelain and kohiki type tea bowl from Korea. Japanese examples include Shigaraki, Tanba, and Tokoname jars, as well as Karatsu, Oribe, and Imari tableware. See the many fine examples of East Asian ceramics. And enjoy the quiet iridescence of the rare Yôhen Tenmoku Tea Bowl from Song-dynasty China.
