    However, the ingenuity of ancient artisans did not stop there. In time, they created red, green, purple, white, yellow, and other colored glass, and devised different types such as translucent and transparent glass. They also realized marbled glass, mosaic glass with flower and animal patterns and the faces of deities, gold sandwich glass in which gold leaf is sandwiched between two layers of glass, and other types with creative designs.
   This exhibition presents precious glass materials from the British Museum and will perhaps help us rediscover the spread of rich colors and motifs achieved by ancient glass artisans. Please come to see the ingenuity and skill that went into creating these beautiful objects.
