China Trip: Discovering the Ancient Culture of
Xian and Louyang
| Greetings In cooperation with the State Administration of Cultural Heritage People’s Republic of China, the city of Louyang and the Longmen GrottoesResearch Institute, a special exhibition on the Longmen Grottoes will beheld beginning September 1. Prior to the exhibition, on the invitation of the Shianxi Provincial Ministry of Culture, the Friends of Museum will tour historical ruins and cultural sites in Xian, Louyang and Beijing with the museum’s director, Inoue Hiroo. On the trip, special arrangements have been made by the Shianxi Provincial Ministry of Culture and the Longmen Grottoes Research Institute to visit sites that are not usually open to the general public. Why not take advantage of this ideal opportunity to enjoy a slightly different side of Chinese history and culture? |
