Friends of the Museum Membership Application and Renewal
Purpose of Friends of the Museum
The Miho Museum is the realization of harmony between nature, architecture, and art. We hope that visitors will be inspired to pursue a life abundant with the eternal harmony and creativity that exists in the relationship between nature and humanity. We ask all those who agree with this aspiration to help us continue with our activities and exhibitions by joining the Friends of the Museum. Membership dues are used to help fund the operations of the Miho Museum.
Friends of the Museum Membership, Annual Dues, and Benefits

Contributing Members (10,000 yen annually)
Benefits include:
  •free Museum entrance for the member
•subscription to the newsletter Tohgenkyo, sent out in the spring and fall
•an illustrated exhibition guide produced by the Friends of the Museum
•opportunities to participate in special tours (the number of participants may be limited)
Sponsoring Members (50,000 yen annually*)
Benefits include all of the benefits of Contributing Members and:
  •5 free tickets for guests*
•discount tickets for the Museum restaurant and café*
•a copy of Shumei Bijutsu, published by the Shumei Culture Foundation*
*annual contributions of 100,000 yen, 150,000 yen, etc., will receive double, triple, etc. number of these benefits
Patron Members (300,000 yen annually*)
Benefits of Patron Membership include:
  •5 free Museum entrance passes*
•30 free tickets for guests*
•5 copies of the newsletter Tohgenkyo*
•a copy of Shumei Bijutsu, published by the Shumei Culture Foundation*
•an illustrated exhibition guide produced by the Friends of the Museum
•opportunities to participate in special tours (the number of participants may be limited)
*annual contributions of 600,000 yen will receive double these benefits.
Membership Period
  Membership is good until the end of the calendar year of application. In cases when the member joins after September 1st, the membership will be good until the end of the following year.

For Renewing Members
  Please take care of your membership card. We will update our digital files, but will not issue a new membership card unless you change membership type or lose or damage your card.
