ACCESS INFORMATION

BY TRAIN/BUS
To get to MIHO MUSEUM, it takes:
75 minutes from Kansai International Airport to the JR Kyoto Station
by JR Airport Express “Haruka”.
13 minutes from JR Kyoto Station to JR Ishiyama Station.
50 minutes from JR Ishiyama Station on the Teisan Bus Line.

  From Kansai International Airport (KIX) to JR Kyoto Station
By JR HARUKA Limited Express
Board the JR Limited Express “Haruka”at JR Kansai-Airport Station and get off at the JR Kyoto Station. This train runs directly between Kansai International Airport and Kyoto Station and takes approximately 75 minutes.
By Limousine Bus to Kyoto
Board the limousine bus bound for Kyoto on the first floor of the Passenger Terminal Building at Kansai International Airport and get off at the Hachijoguchi exit of Kyoto Station. It takes approximately 105 minutes from Kansai International Airport.
The limousine bus service is available on a daily basis.
  From JR Kyoto Station to JR Ishiyama Station
Board the JR Biwako Line bound for Nagahama or Maibara at Platform No.2 at JR Kyoto Station and get off at JR Ishiyama Station. It takes about 13 minutes from Kyoto.
Both Local (futsu) and Special Rapid (shin-kaisoku) services are available.
  From JR Ishiyama Station to the MIHO MUSEUM
After passing the exit turnstile, turn right and go downstairs to the Bus Terminal for buses bound to MIHO MUSEUM. (It takes about 50 minutes from Ishiyama Station to MIHO MUSEUM.)

**Note: This bus is available only during Spring, Summer, and Autumn seasons of MIHO MUSEUM. By bus, it takes 50 minutes from JR Ishiyama Station on Teisan Bus Line.
Bus Tour From Kyoto/Osaka
BY CAR
To get to MIHO MUSEUM from Kyoto, it takes an hour:
30 minutes from either JR Ishiyama Station or JR Kusatsu Station, or 20 minutes from Shigaraki Station on the Shigaraki Kougen Railway.
30 minutes from the Seta-Nishi Interchange, the Ritto Interchange, or Seta-Higashi Interchange which is the end of the Keiji Bypass.
