Report on Special Education Programs
Storytelling: Tales Hidden within Artworks Storytelling: Tales Hidden within Artworks
Every Sunday during exhibitions (from 3:00 p.m. on the first Sunday; from 2:00 p.m. on all other Sundays; for approximately 30 minutes) in the South Wing Lecture Hall (reservations not required).
Our volunteer staff members narrate original stories based on legends and myths of artworks from our collection. Sound and images are interwoven into tales of Egypt, Greece, and China that bring to life ancient art. Please feel free to join us for this free program and open the door to the world of storytelling.

*Storytelling Festa
In addition to our storytelling series, our summer special incorporates narratives of exhibited works and kamishibai (“picture-story show”) on Sunday, August 2 and 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Each program begins at a different time (and takes place in areas such as the North and South Wing galleries, the open space, and the South Lecture Hall), please ask for times and information at the Main Hall reception desk on the day of the event.
