Spring at MIHO MUSEUM is truly a Toh Gen Kyo, Shangrila, where new leaves sprout throughout the mountains after the weeping cherry blossoms and little birds can be heard singing. In the glorious sunlight, we will hold an outdoor spring tea gathering. Please come and enjoy a bowl of matcha, powdered green tea, made from our Shumei Natural Agricultural farming methods, and sweets using all natural ingredients, in the spring of our Shangrila.
For more information, please contact Shumei Academy.

Winner of the Grammy® for New Age Music
MIHO Journey to the Mountain
Paul Winter Consort, led by the American soprano saxophonist Paul Winter, won the Grammy® award in the category of New Age Music for the CD album MIHO: Journey to the Mountain, which was inspired by MIHO MUSEUM and the mountains of Shigaraki and recorded and produced at the museum. The Japanese koto player Yukiko Matsuyama also performed on this CD, a popular item in our museum shop.
